The typical dimensions of a 40 foot container are 40'-0" in length 8'-0 width and 8'-6 in height. These boxes are very well constructed as they were made to be stacked up to 6 containers high on ships that travel across oceans. They are constructed with a steel frame, steel siding and the floors are constructed of 18 ply epoxy marine plywood.
